Tyrion is now ready to be adopted into his forever home. He got neutered on 7/20 and has healed really well and is ready to take on the world! Before his surgery, he went for his first swimming adventure and he loves the water! Got right in a shallow area at Walnut Creek and then wasn’t phased when he experienced deeper water – just paddled around like he was born to do it! He will be a great water dog. Tyrion is also fetching now and will bring the toy or stick back to you. He had to wear a little cone after his surgery, but that only helped prop his ears up – they are getting more and more pointy every day! Tyrion already displays the human focused trait of a GSD and loves being next to you and sleeping on your feet. You will melt into his soft, green eyes that are enhanced by his black eyeliner. His house breaking is getting pretty close to 100% - he goes to the door and if you’re not there, he will come find you and give you a “come follow me!” dance. He also does well on the leash after only a few walks and trots along next to you.
Get your app in on him quick – he is growing like a weed!
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
