Hello! My name is Spencer. I am a super sweet boy. My foster home has two other dogs and we all get along great. I love playing with other dogs. I am a very handsome boy and I love spending time with people whether they are playing in the back yard or sitting and watching tv. I listen pretty well to my commands but I am working on listening better. Since I have not been with my foster family very long, so I am sure there are still many things to learn about me.
So far I have not chewed anything that was not a toy and did not bark at the door when people came over. I have not shown any food aggression. I am, however, very interested in my foster family when they are eating, but we are working on fixing that. I have not met any cats or kids at my foster home yet. I will meet some in a few days after I get settled. I do like to run and jog though, so if you like running we would get along great!
We will give you more updates as my foster parents get to know me better. I hope to meet you soon. Maybe you could be my forever home!
Spencer is he is HW-, neutered and ready to go after he gets his shots updated.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
