Sonja's personality is as soft as her lovely fur, with absolutely stunning, soft brown eyes. She is very intelligent and extremely responsive to your voice when you say commands, sit, come, off, no, etc. She is polite when getting a bath, enjoys being massaged shampoo on her fur/skin, rinsed off, and dried. Sonja has a grand time playing with the resident 4 yr female shepherd. She sleeps quietly throughout the night without being crated. She has had no accidents in the house while in our foster care, Our girl is cat friendly, takes her treats softly, loves being next to her human, while she is overly zealous with her kisses, she stops when you tell her that's enough. Sonja rides well in the car. She is currently being fed Science Diet Adult chicken/rice kibble and likes her plain yogurt, bananas, her fruitables skinny minis dog treats. Does not like pumpkin.
An absolutely gorgeous German shepherd who has received her annual vaccinations, is spayed, and microchipped. Her monthly heartworm prevention is Tri-heart and Bravecto flea/tick prevention.

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
