Meet Rosie, an adorable, energetic pup that will steal your heart! What a sweetheart she is! She loves to play, and play, and play.....typical for a pup her age. She is very smart, and was out the pet door without any help at all. Rosie eats in her crate, as she always acts like she is starving, and has one of the best appetites we have ever seen. She already weighs 56lbs, and by the looks of her paws, will be a fairly good sized girl when grown. She has earned enough trust to sleep out of the crate, and for the most part is housebroken. Walks are one of her favorite things, too, and she does very well. Rosie sits for treats, but can't seem to understand why she has to share with the other dogs; that she should get all of them, but is learning. She would do best with at least one other dog or pup to play with, as she would probably get very bored by herself, and loves other dogs. This little darling won't last long, so get your apps in now!
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog.
