Purri , stands for fairy in Hindi. She is a beautiful black and tan long haired GSD with golden buttery eyes that will melt your heart. She is a sweet and energetic pup. She will be a good jogging partner or walk buddy. She is good with kids and humans. She loves to give kisses :-). She loves humans.
She used to jump on people when they would come in the house . It has reduced a lot and we continue to work with her on that. She loves her vegetables, she she will be a good role model for kids.
She lives with a resident GSD sister and they hangout together. Sometimes, it is the classic case of younger sibling bothering and being playful while the older sibling needs her space. She sleeps in her crate.
When we went to pick her up , she was initially nervous with our resident GSD, who was with us at that time-- which is expected , but became comfortable after 30+ minutes of interaction, as we gradually increased their proximity to each other. This is just to highlight that Purri can live with another dog.
Purri loves to drink water, does well in crate, but she needs to be let out, to do her business. She is house broken, but we had some minor accidents initially, but she has learned that she needs to do her business outside.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
