Kyle is a healthy male German Shepherd dog with a wonderful personality. Several words can describe him; gentle, kind, loving, and low maintenance. Ball retrieving and Frisbee catching are not in his resume. Instead, Kyle seeks human companionship and loves to go places in the car. He loves spending time with people, going for rides, morning walks, and occasional play. He returns this attention with love and doggie kisses.
Like most GSDs, Kyle is a loyal companion. He is house trained, doggie door trained, ramp trained, and has successfully completed basic training at Southern Star Ranch. He responds to the standard basic commands with ease. From a medical viewpoint, Kyle is heartworm free, has a current shot record, and is microchipped and neutered. He has been professionally groomed and his teeth are in excellent condition. His diet is strictly enforced with no people food. Treats do not interest him and his weight is well within medical guidelines. In short, Kyle is a very healthy German Shepherd dog.
Kyle has been co-fostered with Jamie who has become his best canine friend. They look forward to seeing each other and playing together. He seems to get along with other dogs and shows no signs of being aggressive or other negative behavior. He and Jamie are especially fond of each other and therefore, if it’s a pair you are looking for, consider this twosome. Grab your leash and hook up with Kyle. If you are looking for a real companion, give Kyle a second chance. It will be a great decision.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog.
