Hello, my name is Esther, which means 'Star' and I definitely am a star. I'm the most loving and beautiful little girl you will ever meet. I love to give you lots of kisses and nibbles and I absolutely love my toys, especially my squeaky one. I already know 'sit', 'lay down,' 'stay', 'come' and will sit when we go outside until mama tells me to come. I'm still so new to the commands so I'm not completely perfect at them yet, but for my age and such a short time with my foster mama, I'm picking it up nicely. My foster mama keeps telling me that I'm so extremely smart for my age, and that I amaze her by how potty trained I am already. I'm already learning to use the potty pad when I just can't hold it anymore, but I try to tell someone when I need to go potty and when I'm let outside I instantly do my thing. I always want to play, and LOVE to rough house with my foster mama and foster brother, even though my brother is so much bigger than me I can hold my own against him! They call my 'Scrappy' because I'm so tough and relentless. I also think my foster cats are so cool, my foster brother cat even let me lick his head, he thinks I'm such a interesting little creature, and he is soo cool. I love kids too, but I'm a puppy so I will nibble and bite when I want to play.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
