Comet is a great german shepherd mix puppy, he is calm, quiet, loving and adorable. He loves people, big or small, he is always happy to be petted, sit on a lap or warm your feet. He wants to be right beside his people all the time. He is almost house trained. He sleeps in his foster parent's room at night and let's himself out through the dog door during the day. He will need a little adjustment period if he goes to a home without a doggy door, but he is learning that outside is the place to go. Comet loves balls and will frequently bring it back to you to be thrown again. Comet likes to play with his foster brother's and sisters and is very respectful to the old big dominant dog. Comet would like to have a friend to keep him company while his family is out of the house, if they are out for long periods of time. Comet will make a great addition to any home. Although we are not sure of his mix, Comet is estimated to be around 60 pounds when fully grown.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
