Hello my name is Bruno! My foster parents thought I was so wonderful that they thought about adopting me- I almost didn’t make it to the German Shepherd Rescue site ! Lucky for everyone out there looking for a German Shepherd companion I am available. My original family lived in apartment and that was definitely not going to work for me because I love to run and have a lot of energy to burn off ; my new parents will need some space where I can run. Some of my pastimes include chewing on the multiple toys that are provided, training, running and loving on my foster parents. I have been a good dog and not chewed on any of my foster parents’ shoes or furniture and I easily go into my crate when asked. I do know some basic commands such as sit, down, wait and kennel up. I am a pup and would require additional training and I am not fond of very small children/ toddlers. My dream owner would be one that loves to play ball and tug, has a yard for me to run in and understand the needs of a big smart dogs with lots of energy . Yes, it is true , not only am I fairly smart but I am also handsome. What a package you say? Well check me out in person and you will surely fall deeply in love with me.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
