Meet Beautiful Bindi! She is a two year old 60 pound gorgeous girl full of love and energy! She is truly a special girl. She is potty trained, crate trained, knows basic commands (sit, stay, paw and lay down). Bindi is very spunky and would do best in an active household where she can run and play. She loves attention and will be by your side as loyal as they come. She loves to cuddle and is extremely loving and always wants to be by your side. She is very smart and bonds very quickly to her people. She is very loyal and also loves toys and is always walking around with a tennis ball in her mouth!
A household without small dogs, cats, and where someone is usually home a lot of the time would be a good fit for Bindi. She will thrive with a male canine companion who lets her be the boss at times. She loves her foster brothers (chocolate lab and great pyrenees) and is very playful with them! Bindi has recently recovered from FHO surgery and is doing incredibly well. We are still massaging her hip to facilitate building up the muscle in her leg and monitoring her activity so she does not over extend her recovery.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
