Hello, my name is Benjamin and I am a very sweet loving puppy that is looking for my forever home. My previous owner's just decided to dump me on the street for no apparent reason, but I have a great foster family right now and they are loving me, taking care of me, and feeding me some really yummy food.
I love to run and play with my big foster brother and sisters. My foster sister Bella and I play all the time, but Jace and Kona like to run from me. I think I scare them because I am so small, but I chase them and chase them and chase them because I just think it is a game that they run from me......I want to play with the kitties, but they won't play with me, so I just bark at them.......and then they run away....however, they do let me kiss them on occassion..... I have only been in my foster home for a couple of days, but I appear to be about 90% potty trained, but you have to pay attention, when I tell you it's time to go outside, it's time to go outside.
I am going to be a pretty big boy when I grow up, my feet are really big and I trip over them all of the time, but my foster mom tells me that is just a part of growing up and that I won't be clumsly forever.
Won't you adopt me and let me be your forever friend????
Love, Benjamin
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
