This fabulous youngster is at the perfect stage between puppyhood and adulthood and is ready to start on “forever” with his new family. Ace still looks at the world through innocent eyes and adores anyone who adores him. His gentle nature would make him a wonderful companion for a first time German Shepherd owner or someone looking for a dog that optimizes the qualities of loyalty and dedication. His easy going personality makes him a great match for nearly any household that has lots of love to share, time for fun romps in the park or a nice stroll and a little positive direction as he reaches maturity.
Ace is crate trained, (seems to be) fully housetrained and has gotten along wonderfully with both large and small dogs, as well as the dog-savvy cats in his foster home. Even though he is young (under 2 years) he is generally good about not chewing if proper toys are available. His easy going dog manners and great play style make him a perfect match for someone who’s lifestyle involves taking their dog out and about town with them! This guy will turn heads at your favorite coffee house!!!
Health wise Ace is right on track! He is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, neutered, etc. His coat is luxurious, full and healthy. And is weight is perfect for a young, adolescent male GSD. To some, Ace’s striking black coat might make him seem a little intimidating but then his tail starts wagging and he saunters over to lean against you and lay his head in your lap… showing his true colors… a heart of pure gold. Don’t let this Ace in the Hole slip through your fingers!
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
