Hi! I’d like to introduce you to the newest little BIG girl in the pack, Xena is her name. She’s a sweetheart and just sooo adorable. This little BIG girl will definitely steal your heart! See pics, Xena is the little brown cutie with the big ears. She adores us, her foster family, and loves to stay close to us. Her new big brother, Bhullet, is teaching her the ropes to being a good house dog. She’s a typical puppy that loves to get into anything and everything. And talk about curious, she tilts her head left and right when she hears a new sound and then she's eager to go and investigate. She loves for her face to be rubbed and before you know it, she's rolled onto her back so you can rub her belly. She also LOVES toys and to chase the ball, not yet returning it, but we're working on it. She’s a character! She likes to run around with an empty ozarka bottle, crunching it as she runs around the house. She’s now crate trained and we're currently working on potty training. She’s getting better and better every day…only one accident since she came to us. She’s current on shots, HW-, and was spayed on 8/22/13. We will update as we learn more about this gorgeous little BIG girl!
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
