Meet Bali our beautiful sweet German Shepherd. Bali is very active and loves to go running. He will run with you for at least 45 minutes before he begins to tire. He also loves to go swimming and if you have a pool, he will swim in it until you tell him it is time to get out. Bali is Obedient command trained, Crate Trained, and House Trained. He does not jump up on furniture.
Bali gets along well with children and is very human oriented. He is currently being fed Blue Buffalo and eats 2 cups twice daily. We feel that Bali would be a great tracking dog as well. What Bali is looking for in his forever home is a family who has a very active lifestyle and will take him jogging, and keep him included on all their outside activities. He would like a swimming pool to swim in and a nice cozy bed to sleep on at night.
Bali is non destructive and is not a fan of cats or small dogs. His preference would be a home where he is the only dog or has a large canine companion to play with. The owner who adopts Bali should be knowledgeable about German Shepherds and a strong pack leader who remains consistent with Bali's boundaries. Bali is currently interviewing applicants for his forever home.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
