My name is Fritz and I am now accepting applications for the best home ever. I love my foster home because I have a one year old canine sister named Libby who I adore. We have so much fun playing together, especially when we both get in the pool and splash each other. My foster dad is pretty cool too because if he likes to give me a huge chunk of turkey meat, not just a pinch, I am talking the whole slice (YUM).
I am good with all other dogs however it is proven that I am not a fan of cats. Very human focused which is evident by all the kisses I like to give and the time I enjoy staying by your side. My canine sister, Libby, tries to move in on the belly rub action sometimes but my foster mom and dad have enough of those to go around so I don't mind. What more could someone ask for but a sweet boy who is neutered, housetrained, crate trained, current on vaccinations, and obedient to commands.
I am a very firm 70 lbs at one year old. Mostly likely my weight will max out around 75lbs. Gotta stay lean for the ladies you know. Keep in mind that I am still going through my puppy stage and my curiosity will sometime find me being distracted because I am exploring my new world around me. I have a wonderful personality, love to be brushed, enjoy belly rubs and attention. Chasing squirrels and balls are two of my favorite things to do when I am not chasing and playing with Libby my canine sister.
Signing off now with a few final thoughts. If you are looking for a great companion who offers unconditional love, a companion who is as intelligent as he is handsome, then you should put in an application to adopt me. I am now interviewing for my forever home. A big plus would be if you have a young female canine playmate for me to romp and run with because I really enjoy my playtime with my sister Libby. I give sweet kisses!
Hugs, Fritz
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
