Help Change Loki's Luck

Dumped in a shelter at 4 months of age because of Medical issues; underweight and alone. We can’t save them all, but we can do our best for them, one at a time.

Sweet Loki joined the AGSDR family in March 2018. After seeing several specialists (including an Orthopedic & Dental Surgeon), it was determined that Loki had a previous, untreated jaw injury, causing the left mandible of his jaw to be slightly shorter than the right (hence one of the reasons for him being underweight). After review of x-rays and a CT scan and weighing the options for Loki, it was determined Loki would need reconstructive jaw surgery to be able to live a normal life at a healthy weight. Loki's recovery will be at least 7 weeks long. He will be on a soft diet & only allowed outside on a leash to protect him from placing foreign objects in his mouth. He will also be on crate rest in one of our awesome foster homes, getting lots of love and attention while he heals.
