It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of one of our most dedicated volunteers, Jeannie Rolan. She was a tireless advocate and ambassador for the German Shepherd breed, pouring her heart and soul into our rescue. Her unwavering commitment and passion were evident in everything she did, from fostering and caring for countless dogs to spreading awareness about the breed she loved so deeply. But it was Zar, her soul dog, who truly captured her heart. Adopted from our rescue, Zar became her world—a loyal companion who filled her life with unconditional love and joy. They were inseparable, and we know that when heaven gained another angel, Zar was there, waiting for her at the gates, ready to guide her home. Jeannie was more than just a volunteer; she was family. Her impact on our rescue and the lives of so many dogs will be felt for years to come. We will forever be grateful for the love, dedication, and time she shared with us. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy and love for the German Shepherd breed will live on in all of us.
